Chief Information Officer (CIO)

ING Americas

Ed Steinike is chief information officer (CIO) for ING Americas, responsible for providing overall leadership, management and strategy as it relates to IT technology and operations, as well as the contact and distributor centers.

Prior to joining ING, he was the CIO North America and chief development officer for The Coca-Cola Company, where he was responsible for global applications development for all business units, including the sales and distribution software company supporting all bottling operations. In addition to Coke, he spent 26 years with General Electric (GE) where he served in various senior leadership roles, including chief information officer for corporate commercial, energy products, energy services and medical divisions.

Steinike earned a bachelor’s degree from Marquette University. He is a member of various CIO Associations and serves on the board of advisors for the College of IT at Georgia Southern University. He is Six Sigma certified.
