ING sponsors 2005 Hispanic Entrepreneur Awards

ING was one of the sponsors of the prestigious 11th Annual Hispanic Entrepreneur Awards, presented by Hispanic Magazine in New York City in recent days. The event was attended by several media figures, business owners and leaders. Ricardo Valencia, head of Diversity Marketing, represented our company at the ceremony.
Hispanic Magazine presents the awards every year to the top Hispanic entrepreneurs and business owners in the U.S. Honorees stand out not only for accomplishments in business, but also for bringing to light the success of millions of Hispanic business owners across the country.
Among this year’s award recipients are:
- Maria Welch and Roberto Allen, CEO and president of Baltimore-based Respira Medical, a clinical respiratory care services and home medical equipment provider;
- Richard A. Castro, a McDonald’s owner/operator;
- David Perez, CEO of Hispanic marketing strategy firm Latin Force;
- Ben Gutierrez, chairman and CEO of Detroit-based McMullen Tool Supply.
