UNICEF recently recognized the ING U.S. Foundation for its support in providing basic education to children in Africa as part of ING’s Chances for Children initiative. Over the past year, ING has given almost $100,000 through a combination of employee contributions and grants made by the ING Foundation. This is just one of the ways ING is providing the resources people need to empower themselves through education and financial literacy.

In 2005, ING Group joined forces with UNICEF to achieve the goal of providing quality education to 50,000 children in developing countries through an initiative called ING Chances for Children. Watch for more details about how we will be supporting ING Chances for Children in the U.S. during 2006.
