Chief Executive Officer of ING Investment Management Americas

Jeff Becker is chief executive officer of ING Investment Management (ING IM) Americas, a $260 billion asset management business with operations in 12 locations in the U.S. and Latin America. ING Investment Management Americas is part of the global asset management arm of ING Group.

In his prior role as vice chairman, chief operating and financial officer, Jeff was responsible for leading the division’s Strategic Planning, Financial Management, Operations, Technology, Compliance, and other business management activities. Jeff joined one of ING Investment Management’s predecessor asset management companies in 1998 and ultimately served as its chief financial and administrative officer responsible for its business management and support organizations. Prior to joining ING, he was chief credit officer and group head, Portfolio Valuation and Analysis for Aetna’s Real Estate Investment Group. Prior to joining Aetna in 1994, Jeff was a senior manager in Arthur Andersen’s financial consulting practice. Jeff earned a B.A. in economics from Colgate University and an M.B.A. in finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
