Ann Hughes is channel head and national sales manager for the Wholesale Brokerage Financial Institution Markets. In her position she oversees all of the retail annuity sales efforts for the full service brokerage and regional based firms as well as all financial institutions. She manages a sales force of 67 wholesalers, and works with the largest sellers of variable annuities in the industry.
She started with ING in 2000 and has held several management positions including head of business development for ING Annuities. Prior to joining ING, she spent six years at the Iowa Attorney General's office where she was training and education coordinator.
Hughes has a master’s degree from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. She holds her Texas life insurance license as well as her Series 6, 63 and 26 designations.
