ING aspires to use its knowledge, skills, and resources to make a real difference in people’s lives. In our profession and in our communities, we are dedicated to helping people achieve financial independence and build more satisfying lives. The cornerstone of our approach is “empowerment” – providing individuals with the knowledge, tools, and opportunities they need to take charge of their financial lives and prepare for their future.
We maximize our community impact by aligning our charitable giving and partnership efforts with the core financial skills of our employees, and by concentrating our resources on people and communities facing economic, educational, or financial disadvantages. Our programming and partnerships focus on three primary areas: Financial Literacy, Children's Education, and Diversity.

The ING “Partners in Empowerment” umbrella encompasses unique ING Signature programs; national, local and community partnerships and sponsorships; special efforts such as disaster relief; and charitable giving from ING employees and the ING Foundation.
